About Me
As a clinical social worker psychotherapist, I work with individuals to help them cope with the emotional struggles that come with life. I am a native Austinite and earned both my undergraduate degree in Psychology and my graduate degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin.
I work with people who are going through life transitions, struggling with anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns, or recovering from illness or injury. My goal is to create a safe place for clients to work through thoughts and behaviors that are causing distress. Together, we can figure out what is causing emotional pain and how to move towards healing and strength.
I use a variety of modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness and psychodynamic therapy.
When I'm not working, I love to be outside with my family and our dogs. I like to travel and have lived in several different countries for extended periods of time. I love to kayak and knit and make things with my hands. Most of all I love to talk to people, hear their stories and build connection.
